Bright Brown 04:03
My daughter said she has the moon, I told her I believe. If she wants the sun the stars and everything everything in between. I work my fingers to the bone, slit the throats of those who hold the throne. I know she does, I know she does, i know she doesn't know. My brother called and said he's gonna have him self a daughter, I know he has the patience and I know he has the hands. My mother said she stole the moon and i told her to remember, there will always be a consequence and a price to pay. Who's to tell you what is wrong or what is anything, about anything at all, Cause the rise and fall of the tides will carry you will carry us from here. Let's wash these idle hands and give them something to do, give them us something to do, and we wont be stuck right here, we'll start going somewhere. Who is wrong who is right? who is here with you tonight?

In and out of oblivion, we took our shot at believing in institutions. But what started out as a lie ended up as an exercise of exclusion. What started out as a joke ended up as a T-shirt and sold for profit. And before you could even know, it turned into a feeling. Can you feel it? We've had our lifetime to remember. We have to try to learn to surrender. What started in 95', we sat alone and we learned it, taught to believe it. But now that we are still alive we can't separate the achievements, from the progress. We've had our lifetime to remember. We have to try to learn to surrender. This is just the way it is. This is just the way that life has changed. And you don't have a choice. Cause everyone has hopes and dreams, fears that make us whole and now it seams the future's here and all we're left all we're left with is hope. We've had our lifetime to remember We have to try to learn to surrender.

She called today, it was the same old story, she sits and she waits because she wants you back at home and blames herself. As autumn wains, and winter's blowing in, she don't want to be alone, she blames herself, you blame yourselves, you blame yourselves again. Thank you for all the sweet memories and the good, goodbyes. The song still plays, and you both know something's wrong, you realize that you're better on your own, and you blame yourselves you blame yourselves again. Thank you for all the sweet memories and the good goodbyes.

EASIER 03:23
I wish someone would take this brick and smash my brains till the memories spill from my ears. Or drill a hole and dump it out and rearrange and make it just a little bit easier. Remember when we drove around, sung out loud, fought even though it wont change. Now the anger's gone and the tempo's changed but its still the same as it was when we were 15 for me. Write it down, sing aloud, make it just a little bit easier.

Found a seat on the back of the bus, you know i thought I was a cool kid. Didn't think that I wasn't alone, I didn't think I didn't have any friends. Who was I to think I was cool without a blunt behind my ear. Walkman with punk rock tapes you know they found their way through the years. Still waiting for, still waiting for, still waiting for the last seat on the bus tonight the last chance to get it right. Found a seat at the back of the class, you know I though I was a cool kid. Didn't think That I wasn't alone, didn't think I didn't have any friends. Who was I to think I was cool without detention, referrals or coming in late (oh no) Back then, that's the way it goes, don't want to see the next year.
